Refining the Product in Stewardship

Why our customers choose container glass over other packaging materials varies. The customer selects glass because the product inside requires one of glass' unique characteristics.

Primary consideration is given to glass when taste and purity of the product are paramount.

Other customers reserve container glass for use in their value added product lines, glass then enhances the value of the product it showcases.

Beer depends on green or amber coloured glass to filter out harmful ultraviolet rays, protecting product integrity.

Glass safeguards product against moisture and oxygen invasion because it is impermeable and non porous. It can acheive an hermetic seal, thereby prolonging product shelf life.

Why do consumers like glass?

Glass is transparent, so the consumer can see exactly what he or she is paying for. Glass can serve multiple purposes. It serves as a transportation mechanism for bringing desired products safely home. It serves as a resealable storage container whether for food or beverages, away from, or at home. It becomes a convenient cooking vessel when you uncap it and pop it into the microwave to heat a special soup. It also reduces the number of dishes you have to wash after dinner. (I like that aspect myself.)

And when the consumer is done with the product inside, glass can give the consumer an extra smile of satisfaction. Because for every time a jar or bottle is empty, it can be:

When one of these steps is taken, the consumer takes positive action for the environment. Consumers Glass wishes that every bottle or jar we make comes back home to us, again and again. It won't happen without a conscious consistent effort by everyone of us.

Think about it.
