Canadian Kids - Creativity PLUS!

Over the last four years we have received some extraordinarily innovative videos from Canadian students. Glass Works decided that it was a shame to keep the results of all this hard work on our shelves. So this year we are making the videos available through regional hosts, some of the top science/educational institutions across Canada. These videos were made available during the week of October 18 - 27, which was National Science and Technology Week. In some areas the videos will be available on an ongoing basis and or will be loaned out to schools which are too far to visit these fun places. In addition to the sites listed below, check out our web site for a more complete list that grows weekly. We hope to have multiple sites in each province.

It is important to remember that success for future students will be judged on new ideas, not on repetition of the past. In sharing these videos with you we hope to trigger your imagination to think of innovative ways to improve glass recycling, making it a sustainable activity for all Canadians. Good Luck!

First Prize Grade 9 to 13: "It's Cool to Recycle" is the fast paced creative talent of Andre Dupuis of St. Mary's Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario. It highlights the combined talents of Cool, a computer animated cartoon character and a live action chase through the streets of Hamilton in the frantic search for a blue box.
